Hi everyone. I heard about the zone from an acquaintance in late December of last year. Checked it out, and decided it was cool, and joined.
I have two adult sons. I am a native West Texan, and moved here where I live now 11 years ago. I have many diverse interests. I love the Scfi channel. I love to read contemporaries, mysteries, and scfi stuff. I'm interested in physics, science, electronics, and computer stuff. love to write, and am a musician, songwriter, and write music as well. I love to cook, and am a philosopher by nature. I love stuff like the unexplained, why things work, and reading about this planet and Earth changes. I've had some college, but that was some years ago. Look forward to talking to you, and have made friends and already met some interesting people. Thank you, and hope to be talking to you soon.

But, I will say I think you are addicted to the zone, and that means you might as well give up the rest of your life. Once you are a zone-a-holic, there's no hope for you, ...

Hi dream lady,
I've been on here 4 years i think, not really sure. it's ok, just wish there were moreolder zoners, but thats noones fault. I keep hoping there will someday be enough older zoners to have an over 40 board, or 40 plus board, but oh, well, guess that's just a pipe dream of mine. anyway, I read too, mostly suspense thrillers, ghost stories whenever i can get them. My kind of scifi is more inline with experiments being a success, or going badly, or just extraordinary things happening to normal everyday people, rather than that galactic empire stuff, and knights plotting overthrows and stuff like that. I've always loved gothic novels, but sadly, they're pretty much extinct now, sad. I have 104 cds of old time radio, mostly mystery and horror. Well, thats really about all i can think of for right now, take care and have a good day,

I think that's a wonderful idea, the over 40's board. We need that. Well, thanks for all the input. You're right Bob, I'm addicted to the zone, and am glad I am.
I love ghost stories, the old Star Trek stuff, but don't like this new stuff they have out now. I love old country, rock from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. I love simple things, complicated people, and life. lol. and I love shows about scfi experiments, and I too love gothic novels, but can't find them. Hope to be hearing from others soon. If there's any older folks who haven't posted, please do so. But I love young folks too. Want to hear what everyone has to say.
Hi dreamlady, i'm 22 and live in England. i'm into all types of music (apart from classical) and also books, i like family stories, the harry potter series and autobiogrpahies. if you want an over 40's board, why not suggest it in zone bbs suggestions? it may happen.
thanks narcissa, good idea, but it may take over one or two people suggesting it before j and chris n actually do it. unfortunately, there just aren't enough of us 40 plus zoners.
